On the flipside the Magic have been impressive, posting the only sub 100 point D-Rating since the deadline and an impressive 114 O-Rating. The Pistons have shown signs of offensive life, with 60% True shooting but still are allowing 111 points per 100 possessions.

NBA POwer Rankings February 27th 2019
We continue watching the trends of teams after the trade deadline, but its still important to note that most teams have only played 6 games with the All Star break. The Warriors for instance have taken a huge beating thanks to a particularly poor game against the Blazers, but they also have had one of the league's worst D ratings in that time span as well. The Celtics might be in a little more trouble, since their defense has been bad and so has their shooting, ranking 22nd in TS% since the deadline.

NBA Power Rankings February 20th
There were only a handful of games to add for the power ranking this week, but I like to run the numbers and keep everything up to date. The Warriors I expect to pop right back up this next week, with just a few bizarre losses really dragging them down right now, as well as Boston.

NBA Predictions for Feb 21st to Feb 24th 2019
We don't get any more basketball until the end of the week, but we do get a couple of good games with the Bucks and Celtics to start us off and the Thunder and Blazers in there as well. This week's picks factor in some weighting for the post trade deadline rosters now, so some teams will see a bit of a drop in their expected performance until they either stabilize or show they really are on the decline.

NBA Heat Map for Feb 10th to the 16th 2019
A short week for the heat map, with many teams only playing 1 or 2 games. The T Wolves had a good offensive week, while the Magic were able to lead in Wins thanks to stellar defensive and offensive efforts.

NBA Power Rankings Febrary 13th 2019
We debut today the power rankings with the full season and trade deadline additions. This data is going to be extremely noisy for a week or two now, but its important to understand heading into the playoffs which teams got much better and which ones are playing with no steam anymore. Like how is Orlando #1 in the post deadline tracking? Well they beat the T-Wolves, Bucks, Pelicans and Hawks all by double digits from last Thursday to today, which the program finds pretty impressive. By next week I would assume a little less noise, but teams that are currently 10+ spots worse probably need to figure something out.
