NFL Predictions Week 4 2018

Will week 4 see as much craziness as last week?  I'm not certain that the Rams can win by huge numbers this week with their secondary banged up, but the Vikings have not looked like a powerhouse this year.  I feel pretty good about most of the predictions this week, so hopefully the program hits it well.

College Football Week 5 Predictions 2018

Starting to see more conference play this week, as we see if the Seminoles are recovered from their early season swoon in a trip to Louisville, and if the Canes are really going to trounce the Tar Heels that badly.
Interestingly in the biggest B10 matchup the program favors the Nittany Lions at home, which if their defense can slow down Haskins I have to feel like they've got the edge.

NFL Power Rankings Week 4 2018

This is the first week we'll get some stabilized rankings from the program, and there are quite a few teams in some places I think noone expected them to be at this point.  The Bucs as  top 10 team when most people had them as a top pick candidate is pretty remarkable, but I think the Pats playing like a bottom 5 team so far is the most surprising here.  Losing by 16 to the Lions, getting beat up by the Jags and winning by a TD against the hapless Texans I think though justifies their place so far.  The Vikings I think are poised to jump after this week if they can catch a banged up Rams secondary.

College Football Rankings Week 5 2018

After a chaotic weekend, we see some real shake up in a lot of the rankings.  We're coming down to the end of preseason rankings still having any effect and there are a few surprising teams in the top 25.  Im still a little surprised West Virginia and Kentucky haven't made their way in yet, but I guess their super low preseason rankings are still holding them back a bit.

NFL Predictions Week 3 2018

Still using mostly preseason predictions, so there are a few oddities here.  I don't think the Eagles are double digit favorites over the Colts just yet, nor that the Seahawks are going to romp over the Cowboys in such decisive fashon.  But most of the picks look in line.

College Football Week 4 Predictions

On to Week 4!  One fo the most interesting games this weekend should be the Michigan State-Indiana game, as the Hoosiers have been playing great footballs so far.  I'll also be interested to see if Purdue can keep it close against a surprisingly good BC team.

NFL Week 2 Predictions 2018

We're still using preseason predictions until next week when we get a full slate of games.  This is how the Bills who are starting Josh Allen are home favorites over the Chargers.   A lot of picks went the programs way this last week though, so hopefully this week can be more of the same.

College Football Week 3 Predictions 2018

Week 3 is the beginning of the end for non-conference play.  We get soem tight games in this week though, with Boise State looking to upset Oklahoma State, and Toledo looking to be a thorn in Miami's side.

Denver Broncos Potential Yards 2018

Back again for 2018 is the Denver Broncos Potential Yards.  I'll update this every week and every few weeks I'll look at how things overall are going.

CLE: Turnovers on offense and three other drives that resulted in no field position change essentially doomed the Broncos.  A penalty laden drive by the Browns to start the Third quarter limited Denver's possessions, gaining only 4 possessions in the second half to 6 non kneel down possessions in the first.  The Browns last two drives were daggers, and the defense looked all the part of a paper tiger.

College Football Picks Week 2 2018

Week 2 is already right around the corner for college football.  Week 1 had a few upsets and a lot of big games that were slow churning games that came down to the end.  This week's predictions are still 100% preseason numbers, next week we'll start adding in results and injury impacts.

Colorado Buffaloes 2018 Potential Yards

Back again is this feature looking into potential yards for the Buffs offense and Defense.  I'll keep this updated throughout the year with some thoughts on the games.

Utah: One drive over 50% of potential yards just shows how low this offense has gone.  The defense held well but faced short fields on a lot of drives.  This was the game that broke the camels back for Coach Mac.  I'm grateful to him for pulling this program from the gutter, but I think he just couldn't get it over the hump.
